Toast Boast

Toast Boast is drinking re-imagined by two people who do not drink. Made in about 3 weeks , Toast Boast came together as the result of an open ended project for a creativity course with the only criteria being that it was something "creative". With so few restritions coming up with an idea was actually quite challenging. What I ended up doing for inspiration was combining words randomly from a list, specifically the names of Pokemon abilities. What we ended up going with was "competitive hydration", and from there Toast Boast was born. You can play it here.


Roles:
  • Designed and iterated upon original game system.
  • Created all art for the game in Photoshop.
  • Programmed a variety of visual effects, such as damage numbers and player flashing.

  • Made in Unity.
  • Art Done in Photoshop
  • Music is String Quartet No.2 in D Major by Alexander Borodin, but was removed from the video due to a copyright strike against it.
